Classic Game Room HD — SUPER NINTENDO console review
Classic Game Room HD reviews the SUPER NINTENDO video game console which was released in the US in 1991. A fan favorite and many viewers’ first game system, the Super Nintendo delivered awesome video games with a 16 bit style that differed from its main rival, the Sega Genesis. Smoother visuals and that Nintendo flair for lengthy games packed with months of gameplay made the SNES game console the system to own for fans of Mario games and Zelda. Could you find Super Metroid on the Genesis, Sega CD or 32S? No! (but could you find Cosmic Carnage on the SNES… No!) This Super Nintendo video game console review shows games and the game system up close. Relive the days when competing video game consoles were actually different and played different games. Reminisce about different sound effects, music design and graphics that separated rival Nintendo from Sega. The American Super Nintendo may be built to last and works like a champ but suffers from a case of the uglies. These days many of the best Super Nintendo games can be found on the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console and downloaded for a few bucks. Games like Super Mario Kart on SNES and Super Mario World still hold their value and bring back years of memories for collectors.

Classic Game Room HD – ZAXXON for Atari 2600 review
The 1st Classic Game Room HD episode. This is the first CGR review recorded 7 years after the cancellation of the original series. Classic Game Room HD is a new member of the Classic Game Room family. A more relaxed, subdued show about classic video games from the past 30 years. These are the games you probably missed, some of them on purpose. Games for the Atari 2600, 7800, NES, Sega Genesis and more. This is one of the first SHMUPS ever made, this 3/4 vide horizontal scrolling shmup is the stuff of legends. Zaxxon is an arcade, coin-op, old school classic video game from the early 1980’s. This review is of Zaxxon by Coleco, for use on the Atari 2600 game console (or compatible Sears video game systems) Be sure to watch the original Classic Game Room episodes. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD. PS3 or Xbox 360 Live Arcade remake of Zaxxon someday? We can only hope.
Classic Game Room – SKYLANDERS PRISM BREAK review

Classic Game Room – GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES for Dreamcast review
Classic Game Room reviews GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES for Japanese Sega Dreamcast from SNK. This 1999 fighting game (released in 2001 for the Sega Dreamcast) is the last videogame in the Fatal Fury series from SNK. Garou Mark of the Wolves features solid SNK style fighting game gameplay with a solid roster of characters with a variety of fighting styles. Beautiful backgrounds full of motion and texture highlight the well rendered characters as they pound the snot out of each other in this uber-challenging game. This CGR review of Garou Mark of the Wolves for Sega Dreamcast has Garou Mark of the Wolves gameplay in HD (also available on Xbox 360 in Xbox Live Arcade as Garou MOW) showing Dreamcast Garou: Mark of the Wolves game play in action.
Classic Game Room – KANE & LYNCH 2: DOG DAYS review
Classic Game Room HD reviews KANE AND LYNCH 2 DOG DAYS for Xbox 360 (also for Playstation 3 PS3) from Io-Interactive, Eidos and Square Enix. This cinematic romp through the Shanghai underground is full of blood, carnage and bodies as Kane & Lynch take on thousands of bad guys after a deal goes wrong. Fans of ultra violent shooters with high production value should get a thrill out of Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days even if the game is fairly average as shooters go. A stylish wide angle lens, grainy filter and constand handheld camera movement effect liven up the gameplay and drop the player into some of most action-packed Hong Kong action films from the past 30 years. This CGR review of Kane & Lynch 2 has gameplay from Kane and Lynch 2 showing video game play in action.
